  If you want to advance from flying piston aircraft to jets, JetSet Training gives you all the instruction you require to exercise unrestricted privileges in Very Light Jets. The course provides both direct (left seat) and indirect (cockpit) in-aircraft instruction. This program is especially beneficial to pilots with a delivery position for an Eclipse.

Course Length
  • 7 to 10 days, contingent upon previous experience, including 40 hours of ground training and 5 hours of direct flight training


    Instruction
  • 5 hours direct flight training
  • Additional 10 hours indirect flight training over 5 days (as required for initial FAA recommendation)
  • Prerequisites
    Student must hold at minimum a private pilot certificate – with current and qualified instrument rating and medical

  • MS760 Very Light Jet

  • Curriculum
  • All aspects of normal and emergency IFR operations, including avionics and other vital aircraft systems
  • Electronic flight planning tools, including custom weight and balance form and checklist
  • Thorough review of the National Airspace System, ATC communications, IFR procedures and Single Pilot Resource Management


  • Training on how to integrate into
    complex international airspace and
    how to communicate with air traffic control
  • Learning to think at “jet speeds”
  • FITS5 (FAA Industry Training Standards) – training specific to glass cockpit aircraft and TAAs (Technically Advanced Airplanes)
  • Flight Check Sign-off
    Upon successful completion of the training course, you will be recommended for your oral and practical examination, given by either a Designated Pilot Examiner or a FAA Inspector.
